Students are continuing to work on fluency while reading aloud.  Please encourage students to do their 20 minutes of reading aloud over the next few weeks to practice.  If students are struggling with fluency, they need an easier book to read. Some key things to practice are:
-accuracy (reading and pronouncing words correctly and not dropping or adding words)
-expression (creating mood and characterization)
-rate & clarity (not too fast and not too slow)
-attention to detail (responding appropriately to periods, commas, bold words etc.)
